Applications and correspondence
Applications are sent through your own email service. The application button opens a draft and does not send information from this website. When you email, we receive your email address, message and any attachments. You may provide your name, business name, services, location, coverage, contact details and website.
We use this information to respond, check your authority to represent the business, assess eligibility, prepare an agreed profile and administer the service. We rely on steps taken at your request before entering a contract and performance of the agreed service. For general correspondence, preventing misuse and maintaining accurate records, we rely on our legitimate interests in running the service. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or customer information.
Publishing a profile
We agree the public information with you before publication. Public details may include your business name, trade, services, story, project photographs, town, areas covered and business contact details. You must have permission to share photographs and information about other people. You can ask for corrections or removal by email.
Where information is processed
Cloudflare hosts this website and routes messages sent to our published email address to our existing business mailbox. Our business email provider processes the correspondence. Providers may handle information outside the UK. Cloudflare’s data processing addendum describes its transfer safeguards. You can ask us by email for details of the safeguards that apply to your correspondence. We do not sell your details or add you to unrelated marketing lists.
Keeping information
We keep application correspondence while reviewing and preparing your profile. If an application does not proceed, we delete it within 90 days of the decision or last substantive correspondence, unless we need a limited record for a complaint, legal obligation or to prevent repeated misuse. For a published business, we keep the agreed profile information while providing the service. After closure we remove the public profile and delete unnecessary working materials within 90 days. Necessary accounting, agreement and dispute records may be kept longer where required by law or to establish or defend a claim.
Website visits and cookies
Cloudflare processes technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website. This recruitment site has no account login, application database, advertising trackers, analytics scripts or non-essential cookies. We do not use browser storage to collect application details.
Your right to object
You can object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests. Email us and explain your circumstances so we can consider your request.
Your other rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to make a request. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Future services
Accounts, reviews, payments and quote requests are not active on this recruitment site. We will update this notice before introducing new ways to collect or share your information.
